The demonstration faced additional challenges when Westminster Tube station was closed around 5:30 p.m. due to a reported “fire alert.” As a result, many protesters made their way from Green Park and Piccadilly stations on foot, chanting slogans and carrying banners as they marched toward Downing Street.
